Services

We have various events and outreach services that we use for engagement in our community. The following are a snapshot of services we provide such as:

• Host holiday dinners
• Put on a yearly Applefest event
• Prepare a free lunch each month
• Support Safe Net Ministries, a food cupboard and distribution center for those in need
• Provide Thanksgiving baskets for families in need
• Provide Christmas gifts for families in need
• Donate winter weather accessories
• Donate baby items for mothers in distress

Free-Lunch:

Grace Church is committed to lessening food insecurity suffered by our neighbors in Stafford Springs and the surrounding communities. Grace Church supports our local food bank, Safe Net Ministries, both financially and by our members regularly volunteering at food distribution events each month.

Additionally, we hold a Free Lunch each month from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM. Food is available to eat inside in our Guild Hall, or can be packaged for take-out.

The Hall can be accessed by stairs down from the Spring St side of the church, or by an accessible ramp located on the Hyde Park Rd side of the church. Parking is available in the public parking lot adjacent to the convenience store across Spring St, or in the small lot near the accessible ramp on the Hyde Park Rd side of the church.

“Then the righteous will answer him, “Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? … The King replied, “Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.” (Mathew 25:37-40.)
